I've seen the same thing with low-vis Hy-Gard, so I would say that's more equivalent to Hy-Tran. When the weather got hot, the trans oil light started coming on. A guy here bought a 4440, everything else he had was red, so he put Hy-Tran in it just to standardize. Makes sense though if they are different weights Had basically no Hyd functions at -20 while the other tractors were still stiff, but functional with co-op oil. Would make sense, I put hyguard back in my jd tractor recently, and with the cold weather, it is the most cold blooded tractor on the place this winter.
